February 8, 2017 – Carroll Lutheran Village has named Susan Arcadia as the Vice-President of Operations. She will oversee the operation of the Westminster continuing care retirement community as well as its new sister community in Ellicott City, The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT.
Ms. Arcadia has served in management roles in senior living communities in Pennsylvania for more than 30 years, most recently as the Executive Director of Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell, Pa. She is also a surveyor for CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services.
Ms. Arcadia holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in administration from West Chester University. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and a certified personal care administrator in Pennsylvania.
Carroll Lutheran Village is an accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Westminster with approximately 700 residents in 398 homes and apartments, 50 assisted living suites in the Diven House and 103 skilled nursing beds in the Health Care Center.
The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT is a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community with 205 apartment, 36 homes, 20 assisted living suites and 12 nursing. MILLER’S GRANT opened in February 2016 and is currently home to nearly 270 residents and more than 100 employees.
