June 20, 2017 – The 20th Annual Carroll Lutheran Village Golf Tournament was held on June 2, 2017 at The Links at Gettysburg. The event raised $138,500.
The tournament featured 18-holes of golf, a live auction and a raffle. Raffle winners were drawn on Thursday, June 1 at Carroll Lutheran Village and were Doris Dell, Delores Sheeler and Grace Woo. Each received $500.
The tournament features six age divisions. The Open Division is for men ages 49 and under; the Senior Division is for men ages 50-59; the Super-Senior Division is for men ages 60-69; the Gold Division is for men ages 70-79; the Platinum Division is for men ages 80 or older; and the Iron Ladies Division is for women of any age.

Senior Division: First place – Mike Fox, second place – Chip Boecker
Super-Senior Division: First place – Brian Etzler, second place – Kevin Beaver
Gold Division: First Place – David Potts, second place – David Carney
Platinum Division: First place – Nick Delia, second place – John Pentzer
Iron Ladies: First place – Mercedes Brooks, second place – Lola Kayler
Proceeds support the Ministry of Caring, which provides assistance to residents of Carroll Lutheran Village who have outlived their financial resources. In fiscal year 2016, the Ministry of Caring provided more than $3.1 million in support to more than 240 seniors with need. This funding is supported through philanthropic gifts and fundraising, including the annual golf tournament.
