May 5, 2015 – Carroll Lutheran Village will host two free screenings of the critically acclaimed documentary “Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me.” Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2011. The film follows Campbell on his farewell tour and documents his struggle with this progressive disease.
The film includes special appearances by Bruce Springsteen, The Edge, Paul McCartney, Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Steve Martin, Chad Smith and Bill Clinton among others.
Screenings will be held in Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster on Monday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. A pre-show open house will feature information from local resources including the Carroll County Bureau of Aging, Visiting Angels, Right at Home, West End Place Adult Day Care, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
