December 14, 2015 – John Henry, N.H.A., has been selected as the Director of the Health Care Center and Diven House at Carroll Lutheran Village. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with more than 25 years of experience in long-term care administration.
Henry joins the Village after serving as the administrator for St. Joseph’s Ministries in Emmitsburg. Prior to that, he spent more than 15 years in administrator roles in a number of southern Maryland skilled nursing centers.
Henry will oversee the management of the skilled nursing and assisted living levels of residency at Carroll Lutheran Village. He is a strong advocate for person-centered care, facilitating ways to empower residents to be more involved in directing the care they receive. A significant goal will be to continue to provide excellent care while staying abreast of the rapidly changing health care system.
Carroll Lutheran Village is an accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Westminster with approximately 700 residents in 398 homes and apartments, 50 assisted living suites in the Diven House and 103 skilled nursing beds in the Health Care Center.
