April 4, 2016 – Carroll Lutheran Village volunteers were honored on April 2 as part of National Volunteer Month. The event featured a concert of Celtic harp and bagpipe music by the duo Port Righ followed by refreshments and social time. Nearly 200 of the Village’s 460 volunteers were on hand to enjoy the event.
Last year more than 24,000 hours of volunteerism were documented by community volunteers and residents who gave time to the Village, as well as by residents and staff who volunteered within the greater community. This time is valued at over $560,000.
