Save the date - World Day of Prayer is just three weeks away on March 1. Carroll Lutheran Village hosts the Carroll County celebration beginning at 10:30 in Krug Chapel. This year's ecumenical service was written by the women of Slovenia. Students from Carroll Lutheran School will participate in the service and the guest speaker is Rev. Rodney Gross from Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro.

The therapy department at Carroll Lutheran Village is among the few in Carroll County trained in LSVT Big and Loud - results-based programs to help people with Parkinson's disease and other neurocognitive disorders stabilize mobility and speech. No one braved the cold this past Saturday-but these Winter Games still brought in about $1,900 to purchase a mobile blood pressure machine for the Health Care Center. Residents organize the annual fundraiser each year to benefit a project of their choosing. Another great year - thank you!
