May is Older Americans Month! Led by the Administration for Community Living, this year’s theme focuses on Communities of Strength, recognizing the important role older adults play in fostering the connection and engagement that build strong, resilient communities.
During challenging times, we find strength in our communities. This is certainly evident time and again at Carroll Lutheran Village, as residents and team members have found new ways to support and encourage each other.
Older adults are a foundation of this strength within CLV and throughout the surrounding community. Through a variety of experiences, successes and difficulties they have built resilience to face new challenges while creating a stronger future.
Each year older adults continue to make a positive impact in our society. Celebrate Older Americans Month by implementing these valuable tips to maintain a strong community all year long.
