Join our retirement community. It may be the best decision of your life.
Carroll Lutheran Village is a non-profit faith-based Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), providing all levels of care including independent living and assisted living as well as long-term care, memory care and rehabilitation, in our fully accredited on- site Health and Rehabilitation Center, to seniors of all faiths.
Founded in 1980, Carroll Lutheran Village is one of the first senior living communities in Maryland. Recognizing Carroll County seniors’ needs and the lack of local services available, our founders began conceptualizing a care setting – Carroll Lutheran Village.
From our humble beginnings as a nursing home, Carroll Lutheran Village continues to thrive. Over the last 40 years, we have expanded to become a life-plan community serving more than 600 residents, providing a continuum of care and offering a variety of apartments and homes, services and amenities.
Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD is managed by Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland, which also manages Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant in Ellicott City, MD. Established in 2018, LSMMD provides strategic growth, vision, management and resources to its communities, enabling the communities to focus on what they do best, caring for residents.
