President and CEO Jeff Branch interviews Ken Connelly, vice president of operations. Ken is responsible for the overall operations of Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland’s communities, Carroll Lutheran Village and the Lutheran Village at Millers Grant.
Connelly joined LSMMD in March 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has worked over the last 25+ years in the senior living industry and is excited to not only meet the residents and staff at both communities, but to continue to find ways to keep them safe during this difficult time. In addition, he is looking forward to continuing to help with improvements at both communities, as well as increasing resident satisfaction.
Connelly lives in Vienna, VA, and grew up in Silver Spring, MD. He attended Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore, where he continued his passion for sports, playing football. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and has recently discovered a love of landscaping.
