Pierogi Casserole (serves 4)
Ingredients
- 16 oz. (1 package) frozen potato & onion pierogis
- 7 oz. of kielbasa sliced
- cream cheese softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup thin sliced green onions
- 2-quart pan
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Spray 2-quart pan
- Thaw pierogis
- place pierogis and kielbasa in the pan
Sauce
- Whisk cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, and pepper together in bowl
- Add half of the cheddar cheese and green onions into the bowl
Instructions continued
- Pour the sauce over the pierogis and kielbasa in the pan
- Cover with foil
- Bake for 22-27 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees
- Remove foil and top with remaining cheese and bake for approx. 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts
- Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining green onions on top
